Introduction to Literature Student Workbook Part 1
Part I of this series follows Axel as he leaves behind his boyhood and travels from his small town to discover what it is to become a man in this exciting Right of Passage novel.
This course teaches how to interpret the following literary terms: setting, character identification, internal and external conflict, resolution, empathy, protagonist, plot, sub-plot, inciting force, point of view, narrative voice, exposition, metaphor, suspense, foreshadow, climax, theme, and time. All of these are part of a good training in the discussion of literature.
Essential writing skills will be developed such as the well written sentence, structure of a solid paragraph, and an introduction to essay writing.
